Game Developer & Senior Software Engineer
3+ years building software for the smart-metering industry — and reverse-engineering, porting, and building games in the hours around it.
I'm a senior software engineer with a background in smart metering, where I've spent the last three-plus years working on the kind of software that has to just quietly work: reliable, long-lived, and dealing with real hardware and real constraints.
Outside of that, I build games — usually the hard way. That's meant disassembling a Nokia J2ME cartridge by hand to rebuild it faithfully in a browser, hand-rolling a WebSocket protocol instead of pulling in a library, and writing pathfinding and dialogue-tree engines from scratch. I like understanding systems down to the byte, and I'd rather write the 120 lines myself than add a dependency for them.

A versus block-stacker with a full garbage economy, playable over LAN or the open internet — zero runtime dependencies.
A tiny OSRS-inspired quest game — click-to-move, branching dialogue, and two chained quests in one self-contained page.
